Procedure Description
The preparation is designed to improve the functioning of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract and eliminate discomfort in the stomach. The main active ingredient is omeprazole, which reduces the acidity of gastric juice and helps in the treatment of peptic ulcers and gastritis. It is effective in the treatment of acid-dependent gastrointestinal diseases and reduces the risk of their recurrence.
Indications
Peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
Erosive esophagitis
Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
Prevention and treatment of ulcers associated with the use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory preparations (NSAIDs)
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to omeprazole or other components of the preparation
Pregnancy and breastfeeding (requires a doctor's consultation)
