IPL Phototherapy for a More Even Skin Tone
Lumecca is used to address pigmentation spots, sun-induced pigmentation, freckles, visible capillaries, telangiectasia, and diffuse redness. The technology allows both pigmented and vascular changes that contribute to uneven skin tone to be treated within the same procedure. Over the course of treatment, these concerns gradually become less noticeable and the complexion appears more even. The procedure may be used as a standalone phototherapy treatment or as part of a comprehensive skin quality program.
Procedure Protocol
Before the session, the doctor assesses the condition of the skin, skin phototype, and the nature of the pigmented and vascular changes, rules out contraindications, and selects the treatment settings individually. A special contact gel is applied to the selected area. The doctor then treats the skin systematically with Lumecca light pulses.
During the procedure, you may experience brief warmth or mild tingling. Moderate redness may occur immediately after the session. Pigmented areas may temporarily darken before gradually becoming lighter over the following days.
